Cary Post 67

Since 1925, the American Legion has sponsored a nationwide youth baseball program.  The American Legion and their 2.8 million members have raised millions of dollars each year for players to learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship.  The American Legion sponsors American Legion Baseball to give players an opportunity to develop their skills, personal fitness, leadership qualities and to have fun.

The Cary American Legion Post 67 has been fielding baseball teams for young men since 1974. The Legion fields three teams, Senior Legion, Junior Legion Bulls & Junior Legion Cardinals.

American Legion Code of Sportsmanship

I Will:

Keep the rules;

Keep faith with my teammates;

Keep my temper;

Keep myself fit;

Keep a stout heart in defeat;

Keep my pride under in victory;

Keep a sound soul; a clean mind and a healthy body.

Cary Post 67 2020 Season Has Been Canceled

It is important to keep our Cary Post 67 American Legion organization intact during this unfortunate down time.  To maintain retention of our players, we are planning to field independent teams for both our Jr Legion and Sr Legion playing under the West Cary Redbird Organization if/when we we get the the approval to play again by state officials.

If you are interested in playing this summer, please register via below Link - make sure it is the 2020 Summer Interest Registration Link:

We will only roster those players who played for the Cary Post 67 Baseball organization or planned to play this summer.

The Department of North Carolina has stressed we can not use any American Legion sponsorship, uniforms with patches or any other American Legion baseball affiliated resource to maintain our 2020 baseball season.  Though, they also stressed the importance of maintaining our pool of players and stress the importance of returning next year.

With that said, I have made the decision that we will use this portal to continue to gather information for both this season's impromptu schedule and general interest for those interested in playing American Legion Baseball for Cary Post 67 in the future.

Thank you for your continued support - Tim Kenny, Cary Post 67 Athletic Officer
